"The Algerian War" is entering the final phase of post-production. Before starting the mixing and color correction of the six episodes, we recorded during three days the main voice of narration. The young French-Algerian actress Lyna Khoudri has agreed to interpret it with great enthusiasm and commitment. The result of our sessions greatly exceeds all my expectations. Working with such a talented artist was a tremendous pleasure for me!
Lyna Khoudri won the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival in 2017 in the Orrizonti section for her role in "Les bienheureux", then the César for Best Female Hope in 2020 for her role in "Papicha". She is currently starring in Wes Anderson's latest film "The French Dispatcher". Lyna Khoudri is undoubtedly one of the most promising actresses of her generation.
