From Monday, September 11th to Thursday, September 15th, the four episodes of the radio documentary series I wrote for the France Culture program LSD, La Série Documentaire, will be broadcast at 17:00. Algerians and French people tell us about the end and the consequences of the Algerian War, from their point of view and as they experienced them. Women and men, they are more than thirty in all. We meet them 60 years after the fact, in France and in Algeria. They give us a precious and unique testimony: their concrete experience of the last days of the war, the first weeks of Algerian independence and the long-awaited return to peace. They also explain to us to what extent their life after the conflict was and continues to be marked by it.
